Accessibility

Accessibility statement.

We want our website and our office to work for everyone. Here's how we're working toward that and what to do if you hit a barrier.

Last updated: April 21, 2026

The short version: Our website aims to meet WCAG 2.1 Level AA standards. Our physical office is wheelchair accessible. If you encounter a barrier on our website or need an accommodation for your visit, call us at 610-429-2945 and we'll take care of it.

Our commitment

East Bradford Dental is committed to making our services accessible to all patients, including those with disabilities. We believe dental care should be available to everyone regardless of ability, and we continuously work to improve both our physical office and our digital presence.

Website accessibility

We've designed this website to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 Level AA standards. This means the site should work well with:

  • Screen readers (VoiceOver, NVDA, JAWS)
  • Keyboard-only navigation
  • Browser zoom up to 200%
  • High-contrast display modes
  • Reduced-motion settings

Specific features

  • Skip-to-content links for keyboard users to bypass navigation
  • Descriptive alt text on all informational images
  • Semantic HTML with proper headings and landmarks
  • Visible focus indicators so keyboard users can see where they are
  • Color contrast that meets or exceeds WCAG AA minimums
  • ARIA labels on icon-only buttons and links

Known limitations

We're honest about what we're still working on:

  • Our embedded Google Map has limited keyboard accessibility. Alternate directions and address are provided as text on the Contact page.
  • Our online booking is handled by a third-party provider (PatientConnect365). If that tool presents accessibility barriers, call us and we'll book your appointment by phone.

Office accessibility

Our West Chester office is designed to welcome patients with a range of needs:

  • Wheelchair accessible — ground-floor entry, accessible parking, and treatment rooms sized to accommodate mobility devices
  • Sensory considerations — we try to keep the waiting area calm, and we can dim lights or reduce noise on request
  • Communication accommodations — if you need extra time, written materials, or specific communication support, just tell us when you book and we'll prepare
  • Sedation options — for patients with significant dental anxiety or specific needs, we can discuss sedation approaches

Requesting accommodations

If you need any accommodation for your visit — mobility, sensory, communication, or anything else — please let us know when you schedule. We'd rather know in advance so we can prepare, but we'll do our best to accommodate walk-in needs too.

Call us at 610-429-2945, or email eastbradforddental@gmail.com.

Reporting a barrier

If you encounter an accessibility barrier on our website or in our office, we want to know — and we want to fix it. Please contact us:

  • Phone: 610-429-2945
  • Email: eastbradforddental@gmail.com
  • Mail: East Bradford Dental, 656 Downingtown Pike, West Chester, PA 19380

Please tell us specifically what barrier you encountered, what you were trying to do, and (for website issues) what browser or assistive technology you were using. We'll respond within 5 business days.

Ongoing work

Accessibility is not a one-time project. We review our website when we make changes and welcome feedback from patients and visitors. If you have suggestions for how we can do better, we genuinely want to hear them.
